BODY LANGUAGE TALK

Reading People: From First Impressions to Lasting Impact

In response to a number of clients who have requested further sessions using the metaphor of poker, Caspar has recently developed a completely new subject area to complement his existing body of work.

With obvious relevance to poker and business, the world of body language is endlessly fascinating containing as it does the secrets as to how we outwardly betray our innermost thoughts. As such, it is already the subject of a number of highly successful presentations by many professional speakers.

Steering clear of the more traditional approach to the subject, however, Caspar has created a much more stimulating and original presentation which seeks to show NOT how we can read people around us more effectively... but how well we do it everyday!

Using reading people as the metaphor, the session quickly becomes an exploration of the power of our subconscious minds in all areas of our lives. Explaining the “human bandwidth” Caspar demonstrates that for every 16 sensory inputs that we process consciously, we process 11 million subconsciously and how unaware we usually are of the reasons for the split-second judgements that we make about people and situations everyday!

As with all sessions, Caspar uses poker as the metaphor and conduit for such awakening, showing that most participants can tell the difference between an amateur and a professional player after seeing them for less than a fraction of a second!

With devastating implications for recruitment, sales, negotiation and leadership, the session radically changes our perceptions of how others regard us and the truth of certain things we may hold to be self-evident.

The sessions leave participants more empowered to harness and capitalise on the awesome power of their subconscious minds by becoming more aware of them in their perceptual processes thus multiplying their effectiveness manifold.

Lucky In Business

After Five years with his acclaimed presentation "Risk Taking and Decision Making in Poker Business and in Life" Caspar Berry has created an entirely new presentation all about LUCK and the role it plays in all our lives.

Thematically similar to his earlier material but fundamentally different in its key learning and intention, it is a response to many of his clients who love his inspirational style but want their delegates to see something completely different....

And this is completely different......

While we`re told that the recession may be coming to an end, its effect will be felt in many organizations and team for some years to come. People still feel down. We all feel somewhat "unlucky" or as though our "luck ran out". The problem with this is that it fosters despondency and pessimism when the very opposite is what is required."Lucky in Business" uses Caspars unique blend logic, metaphor and energy to demonstrate - not merely persuade an audience - that:

- Everyone in the room is actually fantasically lucky.
- Luck is something they cannot control so to worry about it is futile.
- Whatever happens to them is the one thing they can always control is their attitude and response to events and outcomes.

Most importantly, Caspar shows that our perception of how lucky we are depends on to whom we compare ourselves. When we understand just how blessed and abundant our lives are compared to most humans in history we can gain much more perspective into our lives and feel more inspired and invigorated to get on with them instead of moaning about weather!

As a completely new speech it has been crearted from scratch using everything Caspar has learnt as a speaker in the last 5 years and covers sotries as diverse as concentration camp survivors, Scotlands unluckiest man, and biggest game of poker ever played, referencing such thinkers as Victor Frankl, Malcolm Gladwell, Benjamin Franklin and Richard Wiseman.

"Lucky in Business" really inspires people to change their personal and professional attitude and look forward to much much better outcomes as a result!
